Deputies: Rash of car break-ins reported along Roper Mountain Road

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said they are investigating a rash of car break-ins at two Roper Mountain Road apartment complexes.

Deputies said three reports were made at Huntington Down apartments between 9 p.m. on Sunday and 8 a.m. on Monday.

Not far down the road, deputies said they received three more theft reports at Stoneledge Plantation Apartments between 2 p.m. on Sunday and 11 a.m. on Monday.

According to deputies, various items were stolen from cars including electronics, purses, wallets, shoes and tools.

Anyone with information on the break-ins is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
