GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Storms caused some damage in Hodges in northern Greenwood County and Waterloo in Laurens County on Wednesday, blowing part of the roof of a Subway into Lake Greenwood. This damage was most likely caused by straight-line winds, but we'll know more after National Weather Service takes a look.

More storms are coming Thursday, and the best chance for storms will be in areas that saw heavy rain on Wednesday. Expect scattered, heavy thunderstorms Thursday afternoon with highs near 90 in the Upstate and mid 80s in the mountains.

Skies should clear for Friday, and there will only be 20 percent chance of rain area-wide.
