Coroner identifies two killed after motorcycle hits pedestrian in Greenville

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A pedestrian and a motorcyclist were killed after colliding on Easley Bridge Road in Greenville County on Friday.

Deputy Coroner Kent Dill said the pedestrian was attempting to cross the highway at the intersection of Third Avenue when he was struck by a Suzuki motorcycle that was traveling westbound.

Dill said the pedestrian, 45-year-old William Gentry, of Greenville, and the motorcyclist, 37-year-old Thomas Vento, also of Greenville, were both pronounced dead at the scene at 12:20 p.m.
