The coroner has identified the man who was killed in a deadly dirt bike accident Saturday night in Spartanburg County, according to Highway Patrol.
Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger said Ricky Darrell Tessneer, 46, of Burgess Lane, Inman died.
Troopers said Tessneer was riding a dirt bike at the Gramling Brothers Peach Orchard near Inman around 8:45 p.m., when the driver hit a ditch and was thrown from the bike. Tessneer was not wearing a helmet, troopers said.
According to troopers, Tessneer was airlifted to the hospital and pronounced dead.
