Police: 1 in custody, 1 still wanted in Asheville CVS robbery

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

One man has turned himself in and another is still at large on charges in connection to a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy, according to Asheville police.

Sgt. Dave Romick said 23-year-old Daniel Maffucci surrendered to investigators on Monday afternoon at police headquarters in connection to the robbery at the CVS Pharmacy on Smokey Park Highway just before 11 p.m. last Thursday.

Maffucci has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping.

He is currently being held on $10,00 bond at the Buncombe County Detention Center.

Romick said his accomplice, 22-year-old Michael Rosser, is still at large.
