SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The Spartanburg County coroner said there is no indication of foul play at this point after an autopsy was performed on a woman found dead inside a home on Highway 221 near Interstate 85 Wednesday afternoon.

Master Deputy Kevin Bobo with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office said deputies were initially dispatched to the home Wednesday afternoon in regards to a welfare check, after the landlord said he had not spoken with or seen the residents in several days.

The landlord told deputies he stopped by the property to mow the grass, and when he knocked on the front door, he made a gruesome discovery.

"I noticed a distinct odor by the back door and air conditioning area and I saw flies caught in between the panes of glass."

He said that's when he dialed 911. The landlord told a FOX Carolina crew on scene he believed the woman had medical issues, he just wasn't sure what.

Investigators said she lived at the home with her common law husband, but he was out of town visiting relatives.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger identified the woman as 56-year-old Olga Sosa Estrada after family was notified.

Clevenger said microscopic and toxicology tests will be performed before a more definitive cause of death is issued.
