ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Officers responding to a burglary call said they located a suspect connected to two cases in an Asheville neighborhood.

Asheville Police Sgt. Dave Romick said officers responded to the 450 block of Kenilworth Road at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday and spotted a suspect matching witness statements near the bowling alley.

The suspect, Steven Coleman, was found to have a large amount of cash, debit and credit cards and jewelry on him, Romick said.

He said the cards were traced to two homes on Kenilworth Road where burglaries were reported.

Coleman was charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen property. Romick said additional active warrants were served on him.
