Showers are back for Friday, starting off across scattered parts of the Upstate and western North Carolina.
Clouds will increase through the day with rain possible anytime, but the best chance will be after noon.
Highs will reach the low 80s for the Upstate and upper 70s in the mountains.
Saturday will bring more rain. In fact the threat for heavy showers will go up from Friday. Off and on rain is forecast for Saturday with a few thunderstorms through the day. Highs will get into the 80s in most spots.
An unsettled weather pattern will remain for Sunday as well, with rain likely during the afternoon. Highs will remain cooler than normal for this time of year, then heat up for next week.
