BOILING SPRINGS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Boiling Springs home was spared significant damage early Friday after two vehicles in the driveway caught fire, according to the fire chief.

The Boiling Springs Fire chief said crews were called to the Piper Court home about 1:30 a.m. where an 18-wheeler and pickup truck were both on fire.

He said the house was exposed to the fire, but firefighters were able to stop the blaze from spreading.

Firefighters were also able to extinguish the fire before it spread to the truck's fuel tank.

No one was home at the time of the fire, according to the chief.

He said deputies were notified of the fire. The cause has not yet been determined.
