WILLIAMSTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Neighbors in Williamston are breathing a sigh of relief after a woman who lives in their neighborhood was arrested on burglary charges after Anderson County deputies say she and another man were caught on a surveillance camera inside a man's home.

It happened on Pinewood Road on Wednesday night. Deputies said Brittany Richardson and Thomas Grant entered the home of Travis Garrett, who was vacationing, and stole his surveillance camera.

Garrett's brother, Anthony Garrett, who lives just three houses away, saw the footage, which was uploaded to a hard drive, and called deputies.

Authorities arrested Richardson on Friday, and they said she ran from them during her arrest, still handcuffed. When they caught up with her, they said she was complaining she was ill. Deputies took her to get medical care and interviewed her.

She was booked into the Anderson County Detention Center late Friday night. Grant has not yet been arrested, though deputies said warrants have been signed for his arrest.
