Chester man killed in crash on I-95 in Richmond

Posted: Updated:

State Police are investigating an overnight motorcycle accident that killed a 45-year-old Chester man.

Troopers tell us around 12:22 a.m. Sunday they responded to a two-vehicle crash near the Bells Road exit on I-95 South. They say the driver of a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, William Toler, ran off the road and struck the barrier wall.

Authorities said Toler was ejected from the bike and died at the scene. The motorcycle continued down the highway and was eventually struck by a 2013 Hyundai.

Toler was wearing a helmet. Troopers say speed is a factor in this crash. The accident remains under investigation.
