Showers and thunderstorms will continue into tonight and Tuesday, as our weather pattern remains unchanged. A stalled upper level system will keep churning moisture our way, bringing more heavy downpours and persistent rain.
We have seen over 2 inches of rain for Monday in many areas, especially in Greenville, Spartanburg and Cherokee counties. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain will be possible tonight and Tuesday.
Watch for fast flooding as our ground is saturated and can't absorb much more water. If you see a flooded road, turn around and find another route.
Skies should clear by late week, and rain chances will go down significantly.
