SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Spartanburg teen is accused of punching one neighbor and attacking another, who is pregnant, with a sword, according to deputies.

Spartanburg County deputies said they were contacted by the injured victims after Malaki Aguado attacked them.

Deputies said Aguado, 18, asked his neighbors for a ride to a gas station and when they returned, he started talking about his gang and said he wanted to fight the man one-on-one.

Then Aguado punched him in the temple, knocking the victim to the ground, according to an incident report. The report stated Aguado went inside then came out armed with a knife, but the man was able to kick Aguado in the chest, knocking the knife out of his hand.

Aguado threatened to kill them but his father came out to bring him outside, deputies said. A few minutes later he returned armed with a sword, according to the report.

He swung, hitting his pregnant neighbor in the neck then hit the man in the back before dropping the sword, deputies said.

Aguado continued to fight and the woman bit him to try to get him off of the man before his father came back and pulled him away, deputies said.

The woman was taken to the hospital with her injuries, deputies said.

Aguado was later arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault and battery.
