SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies are investigating a burglary at a Campobello Li'l Cricket after an employee found holes in the walls, a damaged ATM and a safe moved.

Spartanburg County deputies were called to the Highway 11 store about 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday after the store manager discovered the break-in.

The manager told investigators someone broke in, taking a safe from behind the counter and destroying the ATM. She said the front door was unlocked when she arrived.

Investigators said they found the safe sitting in front of the cooler, along with holes in the back wall and office wall.

Deputies said the burglar damaged surveillance equipment and cut the alarm wires to the store.

According to the deputy's report, surveillance video did show a masked man enter the store.

At the time deputies responded, the manager said she did not know how much, if any, money or items were missing.
