Power outage hits 2K customers in Duncan

DUNCAN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

More than 2,500 customers were without power in the Duncan area of Spartanburg County on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Duke Energy's website, power was expected to be restored between 9:30 p.m. and midnight.

A spokesperson for Duke said the cause was an issue with a transformer bank at a substation that needed to be repaired.
