Carolina Panthers prep for season in Spartanburg

SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Carolina fans will have a chance to check the team out before the season in the Upstate as the Panthers return to Spartanburg for training camp.

The Carolina Panthers 2014 training camp is from July 26 to August 12 at Wofford College. All practices are free and open to the public. Each practice session lasts about two hours.

Training camp season starts on Friday in Charlotte with Fan Fest at Bank of America Stadium from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Then the team heads to Wofford's Gibbs Stadium for their first practice on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

The first practice features a "Back to Football" celebration that starts at 4 p.m., which includes on-field performances by the TopCats, Sir Purr, PurrCussion and Black & Blue Crew, Mayor's Ball Run delivery, face painting, food, interactive games and more.
