SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Lowe's employing making a delivery at a Spartanburg home notified deputies after seeing what looked like a marijuana grow house.

Spartanburg County deputies said they responded to the Beacon Light Road home on Wednesday to investigate the delivery person's claims.

When deputies spoke with the resident, 47-year-old Raymond Griffin, he told deputies he had a small grow operation in an outbuilding next to his house.

With permission, deputies searched the property and said they found containers of small green plants and 28 mature plants under lights. They said they also found similar plants in the home in glass jars and tins.

According to deputies, they found 2,150 grams of marijuana and arrested Griffin on a charge of manufacturing marijuana.
