Deputies: Man with tape-wrapped hands robs Marion bank

MARION, NC (FOX Carolina) -

Marion police and McDowell County deputies are searching for a man they said robbed Fifth Third Bank shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday.

The man is described as being 5'8" and 175 pounds. Deputies said he was wearing a black hoodie, light-colored pants and a baseball cap.

Deputies said the man had masking tape wrapped around his hands during the robbery.

Police said he was unarmed.
