GAFFNEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Cherokee County Sheriff Steve Mueller said deputies have identified a suspect in a recent nightclub shooting in which three people were shot, and he is considered armed and dangerous.

Mueller said deputies are searching for Calvin Lindsay, 25, of Sarratt Avenue, Gaffney.

Arrest warrants have been signed, charging Lindsay with attempted murder and malicious damage to personal property, Mueller said.

Mueller said Lindsay was involved in a July 13 shooting at the Main Event nightclub.

Mueller said deputies expect to make further arrests in the case but said the investigation was slowed by "the lack of cooperation or unwillingness of witnesses, even some victims, and club owners to provide information to law enforcement."

Anyone with information about Lindsay's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
