POWDERSVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

South Carolina Highway Patrol said troopers are looking for a driver after a hit-and-run wreck on Wednesday.

The accident happened at 9 p.m. along Highway 153 at Norwood Drive in Anderson County.

Troopers said a Greenlink bus and a pickup were heading south along 153 when the pickup driver lost control and sideswiped the bus. Troopers said the pickup then veered off the road, hit a guardrail, went down the embankment and crashed into a storage complex.

Troopers said the pickup driver left the scene, but the truck was recovered shortly after on Old Easley Bridge Road. The driver remains at large.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash, troopers said. The bus driver was not injured.

The Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
