GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County investigators said a man died and two others were hurt after a shooting on Lora Lane on Friday night.

Deputies were called out to a home located off Lily Street in the White Horse Road area around 7:15 p.m. when neighbors reported hearing shots fired.

Deputies found two people with gunshot wounds in front of the home and another victim behind a neighbor's house, according to Lt. Ridgeway with the Greenville County Sheriff's Department.

Kim Johnson, who lives on Lora Lane, said her street is a quiet one.

"You won't hear a whole lot of partying or screaming or anything like that," said Johnson.

She said she didn't hear gunshots, but she did hear when police pulled up after the shooting.

"I heard sirens and that's when I come out the door... that's when I seen the guy laying on the sidewalk... It was bad, it was the first time I've ever seen anything like that you know as far as standing there looking at it. It was scary," said Johnson.

Ridgeway said two of those victims were taken to the hospital by EMS with no life-threatening injuries.

Kent Dill with the Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as Cedric Jenkins, 29, who lived at the home.

Dill said Jenkins got into a fight with the other victims inside the home and then shot them before turning the gun on himself.

This is the second shooting on Lora Lane in recent years. There was another one back in 2012.

Rodricus Lagroon said he was driving home when he pulled up to the scene Friday evening.

"I was kind of shocked that it was, again, so close to home, and it just makes you think, when's the next time?" said Lagroon.

Family members said Jenkins shot his wife and her adult son before turning his gun on himself. The family said the woman was grazed by a bullet and her son was shot in the hip, but both are expected to survive.
