GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Partly cloudy skies will allow temperatures to climb into the upper 80s across the Upstate and lower 80s in the mountains Monday.

A slight chance of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm returns for the mountains before overnight lows fall into the 60's area-wide.

Tuesday will open skies up to plenty of sunshine and highs peaking in the lower 90s and mid-80s. Wednesday will be slightly warmer with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 90s and mid-80s once again.

Thursday sets up similarly, with partly cloudy skies, but Friday brings a bit of a cool down with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 80s and upper 70s.

Rain chances will return on Friday as well. Saturday will continue to see rain chances and cooler temps with mostly cloudy skies and highs peaking near 80 degrees and in the mid-70s.

Sunday will be in the lower 80s and upper 70s with cloudy skies and a chance of rain as well.
