ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Anderson County deputies said they have not located a man accused of robbing a TitleMax store at gunpoint Monday.

Deputies said the robber entered the 100 W. Shockley Ferry Rd. store about 9:15 a.m. and demanded cash at gunpoint.

According to the incident report, one person was working when she saw the man walk across the street from the Church's Chicken and try to enter through the front door, but it was locked. The man then entered through the side door and asked her if the business gave loans for cars without a motor, deputies said.

When the clerk said no, the man said "Well, I am here for your money," and pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, making threats to harm her, according to the report. Deputies said the robber fled the scene with cash and money orders.

He was seen leaving the store headed toward Lewis Street, but after 45 minutes of searching, deputies said they have not located him, believing he may have left the scene in a vehicle.

Deputies said the man was described as in his early to-mid-30s, 5'8" tall, 190 pounds, wearing camouflage hat with ear flaps, wire-rim Ray Ban style sunglasses, a black T-shirt, khaki cargo shorts, black shoes with a black backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office at (864) 260-4400 or Crime Stoppers 1-888-CRIME-SC.
