SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Solid steel molds used for concrete that normally require fork lifts to be moved disappeared from a Spartanburg business, according to deputies.

Spartanburg County deputies said the theft was reported Wednesday morning at Adams Concrete Products on Simuel Road.

Deputies said the steel molds were stored on wooden pallets in an open storage area, but the business owner normally used fork lifts to move them.

The molds are worth about $10,000 each, according to the incident report.

The concrete plant is fenced and locked when closed, while the keys to the forklifts are also locked away, deputies said.

Anyone with information on the theft should call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
