Some pleasant changes are coming to our forecast, but showers and storms arrive before that. Expect scattered storms on Tuesday as a front moves in. Some brief heavy downpours and lightning will be the main threats with storms that develop, but damaging winds can't be ruled out.
Tuesday night the cooler air will take over. Overnight lows will drop to the mid 60s in the Upstate and upper 50s for the mountains. Wednesday will be sunny with lower humidity and highs in the 80s.
Wednesday will begin a dry stretch of weather, which will be beneficial for those areas that saw flooding on Saturday night. Our next rain chance won't come until next Monday.
