EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Central man accused of stealing pool and outdoor furniture while a homeowner was on vacation has been charged.

Lt. Sheila Cole with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said 36-year-old Wayne Ellenburg has been charged with grand larceny for the thefts which occurred in late June.

Cole said Ellenburg is accused of taking 20 pieces of pool and outdoor furniture valued at over $5,000 from a home on Bennington Court in Easley.

She said Ellenburg was seen unloading the furniture at his residence by a witness who contacted law enforcement.

The homeowner was out of town on vacation when the theft occurred, Cole said.

Ellenburg is being held at the detention center on $10,000 bond.
