GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Greenville man was sentenced to two decades in prison for the armed robbery of three teens at the Arcadia Hills subdivision in 2012.

Thirteenth circuit solicitor Walt Wilkins said Javarias Teague, 22, was convicted on Wednesday of three counts of armed robbery and three counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Judge James Barber sentenced him to 20 years for the robbery that occurred on July 23, 2012.

Wilkins said Teague will have to serve at least 85-percent of the sentence before he is eligible for parole.
