COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Richland County deputies say they're looking for a man who broke into a Garners Ferry Road convenience store and made off with 35 cartons of Newport cigarettes.

Investigators say the incident happened on July 10 around 12:30 a.m. when a black male wearing a blue baseball cap, blue T-shirt, dark jeans, and tan work boots shattered the front window of the Food Fair and entered through it.

Once inside, deputies say the suspect nabbed the cigarette cartons and fled the store a short time later.

Officials say the man is approximately 5'10" and between 180 to 200 pounds.

If you have any information about this case, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
