Wednesday will bring a chance for isolated afternoon storms, along with hot temperatures. By late afternoon the Upstate will warm into the low 90s, while the mountains will heat into the mid 80s.
Thursday will be a hot one as well. Highs will shoot into the mid 90s for the Upstate, which is about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year.
Rain chances will increase from 20 percent to about 40 percent by Saturday as a front moves in. This will also help to cool temperatures down by Sunday.
