Detectives investigating triple shooting in Spotsylvania

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA (WWBT) -

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that sent three men including a teenager to the hospital.

Deputies responded to the 10600 block of Spotsylvania Avenue around 2:20 a.m. Sunday  for a report of shots fired.  A detective witnessed 50 to 60 people fleeing the parking lot where a "Go-Go" party was being held.  Upon investigation, it was discovered that three subjects had been shot. 

A 24-year-old Colonial Beach man was found in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He underwent emergency surgery and was listed in serious condition. A 33-year-old Spotsylvania man was treated at the hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound. 

The third victim, an 18-year-old man from Maryland, was taken to the hospital before law enforcement and EMS arrived. That victim is undergoing surgery for multiple gunshot wounds and was listed in critical condition
