A man was charged after Union Police said he made a scene and threatened an employee at the Bojangles drive-thru window.

Officers said Christopher Brannon, 35, of Hodges Lane was arrested just before 11 a.m. Sunday.

Workers told officers that Brannon told the drive-thru attendant at the Bojangles on Rice Avenue that the restaurant forgot to include an item with the drive-thru order he placed the night before and wanted to receive the item for free.

While the drive-thru employee was consulting with a manager, reports state that Brannon threatened to physically assault the employee, cursed at her and then drove off.

Police said Brannon's car was still parked behind the restaurant when they arrived.

Brannon was charged with public disorderly conduct.
