WOODRUFF, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Firefighters from a few local departments were called to a Woodruff home on Main Street to battle a blaze early on Tuesday.

Dispatchers said the fire was reported about 4 a.m. at a home along the 500 block of South Main Street.

Woodruff, Roebuck and Poplar Springs fire departments responded to the scene, where dispatchers said no injuries were reported.

FOX Carolina's photographer on the scene said the damage appeared significant, as the roof had caved in.

There is no word on what caused the house fire, but FOX Carolina's crew at the scene said the fire was out by 6:30 a.m. with crews working to douse hot spots.
