Thursday will be a hot one across the Carolinas and northeast Georgia. Mostly sunny skies will lead to highs in the low 90s for the Upstate and mid 80s in the mountains. A few storms could develop in the northern mountains late day. Rain chance is 30 percent for western North Carolina.
Friday will be mostly dry and still hot area-wide. Temperatures will be a couple of degrees above normal for this time of year.
Saturday should be mostly dry and hot with highs in the low 90s for the Upstate and mid 80s in the mountains. Scattered storms will be possible by Sunday and Monday.
