ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -

The Asheville-Buncombe Arson Task Force has determined that the fire at a local medical office early in August is suspicious in nature.

On Aug. 4, the Asheville Fire Department was called to the large fire at Biltmore Family Medicine at 3:15 a.m., which is located on Saint Dunstans Road off of Biltmore Avenue.

Fire officials said the building had not been occupied all that weekend.

The Asheville Fire Department, Arson Task Force and Asheville Police Department are now asking for assistance from anyone who may have either seen something the night of the fire that would seem suspicious or from anyone who may have information regarding this incident.

People with information are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 828-255-5050.
