Mauldin woman uses husband's numbers, wins $100K

MAULDIN, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Mauldin woman had a little help from her husband, using his numbers to play the Palmetto Cash 5, leading to a lucky strike for the couple.

The woman won the Aug. 22 drawing, winning $100,000.

She bought the winning ticket at the Pavan Food Store on East Butler Road in Mauldin.

The odds of winning $100,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 501,942.

For selling the claimed ticket, the store received a commission of $1,000.
