PENDLETON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Anderson County woman said Saturday afternoon that she had located her quarter horse that threw her off while she was riding and ran away on a trail near Clemson University on Thursday.

Nettie Griffin said she was riding a trail with her horse, Ghost, when cows in a pasture along Twin Lakes Road in the Fants Grove area spooked him, causing him to buck her off.

Griffin said she was OK, but Ghost ran off into the woods and has not been seen since. She said people were out searching for him until late last night and again Friday, without success

Ghost was fully tacked, with a saddle, reins and more, Griffin said.

Just before 13:30 p.m. Saturday Griffin said Ghost had been located and she was riding horseback to be reunited with the quarter horse on a riding trail near the T. Ed Garrison arena.
