WELLFORD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police serving warrants at a strip club for prostitution charges found a 2-year-old unattended in a car, according to Wellford police.

Timothy Treadwell, 51, was charged with prostitution and assault and battery after officers served warrants at Teazers on U.S. 28, according to Wellford Chief Jeff Bowers.

Bowers said when they went to serve the warrants a 2-year-old child was found in an unlocked car with no one around.

Bowers said the child is that of Treadwell and his wife, Carolyn Michelle Treadwell, 44.

Carolyn Treadwell was charged with neglect of a child in the incident, according to online jail records.

Bowers said that during an undercover operation with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, two females solicited sexual favors to two undercover officers.

Bowers said Treadwell was also charged in connection to an assault that happened inside the club Aug. 23.

Four women at the club were also arrested and charged with operating without a business license, according to Bowers.

Bowers said they still have warrants for solicitation of prostitution for two girls who were not working that night.

Bowers said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrest warrants have been filed in the case.
