The International Business Awards is the worlds only international, all-encompassing business awards program. As part of the event each year, winners of the acclaimed Stevie® Awards are announced.

Nicknamed the Stevies from the Greek word crowned, the awards honor organizations of all types and sizes, and the people behind them, recognizing outstanding performances in the workplace. This year, there were more than 3,500 nominations from over 60 nations. Categories included management awards, marketing awards, public relations awards, customer service awards, and more.

More than 250 executives worldwide participated in the judging process. Firmex was awarded a Bronze Stevie® for Company of the Year in Computer Software (up to 250 employees). Other Company of the Year award winners included Virgin, Hyundai, AT&T, and AstraZeneca.

Firmex specializes in the secure exchange of confidential documents through its virtual data room platform. Since 2006, Firmex has experienced exponential growth, partnering with over 55,000 companies in 197 countries, including 70% of the Fortune 100.

Each year, our data room platform is used to facilitate thousands of critical financial transactions, worth billions of dollars, explained Joel Lessem, CEO of Firmex. The majority of our new business comes from referrals, which is a testament to the quality of service were providing.

This is the second time Firmex has been recognized by the International Business Awards for its achievements. In 2013, it was awarded a Gold Stevie® Award for Customer Service Department of the Year.

To have our Client Services Team recognized last year for their amazing work was fantastic. And now to have our entire company recognized by the IBA is extremely rewarding, said Mr. Lessem. The success behind Firmex is our people, and they truly deserve this award.

Firmex has also been nominated for the Stevies Peoples Choice Award (Computer Software category). Supporters and advocates of Firmex are encouraged to cast their vote! Voting will remain open until 12 September, 2014.
