GAFFNEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Gaffney police are looking for information after a shot was fired in the direction of an employee at the Carolina Premium Outlets.

Police posted on their Facebook page surveillance images of individuals they said entered the outlets and stole items from the store on Aug. 28 around 8:30 p.m.

An employee of the store followed the people from the store in an attempt to get a vehicle description and tag number, according to police.

When the employee came within 10 to 15 yards of the white Ford Fusion, a man inside the car began yelling and then pointed a handgun from the window and fired one round in the employee's direction, according to police.

Police said one woman was wearing a blue and black fast-food type uniform with a visor. Another woman was carrying a pocketbook with a small terrier dog in it.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sgt. Donnie Sands at 864-206-3341.

Police said a cash reward is being offered.
