Deputies: Mother drove drunk with children in car

LIBERTY, SC (FOX Carolina) -  A Clemson woman is facing charges after deputies said she drove drunk with her children in the car.

According to a report from the Pickens County Sheriff's Office, a witness noticed a car driven by Tiffaney Brown driving erratically Highway 123 Wednesday afternoon and called 911.

The witness advised dispatchers that he had followed her to a location along the highway where she stopped. 

Once deputies arrived, they reported that Brown was unsteady on her feet and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from her.  

Deputies said they found Brown's two children in the car

Brown reportedly admitted to drinking a shot of liquor while talking with deputies and failed field sobriety tests.  She was later given a breathalyzer test and blew a 0.12, which is above the legal limit of 0.08.

Brown faces a charges of driving under the influence and child endangerment.
