GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

FOX Carolina had a very special visitor on Wednesday night!

Devoted viewer Martha Patterson made the trip from Calhoun Falls to Greenville to meet our on-air crew and tour the studio.

Martha was a teacher for 33 years in her hometown, and in recent years, she's been crocheting.

During this year's winter ice storm, Martha was watching FOX Carolina and decided to crochet the last names of Diana Watson, Cody Alcorn, and Kendra Kent.

Martha said she was sitting at her husband's bedside at the time as he battled cancer.

Sadly, Martha's husband developed pneumonia. He passed away on March 5th, but through it all, Martha continued to think about others.

Diana, Cody, and Kendra would like to thank Martha for the amazing gift and her delicious brownies.
