National Police Week activities taking place on Tuesday

Local law enforcement agencies are hosting and participating in a number of events Tuesday as National Police Week celebrations take place across the country.


The Anderson Co. Sheriff's Office is hosting sixth annual Anderson County Sheriff's Foundation Invitational Golf Tournament will take place on Tuesday. Read more.


Law enforcement officers who lost their lives while protecting and serving Greenville County will be honored Tuesday morning during the annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service in front of the Greenville County Law Enforcement Center at 11 a.m. Read more.

Greenville County deputies and Greenville police are also inviting the public to attend a 5K run and one mile walk. The run/walk will start at 1:30 p.m. at Richland Way and Lakehurst Street at the entrance to the Greenville Zoo near Cleveland Park. Read more.


The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office's rifle drill team will head to Washington, DC Tuesday, where the team will compete in the National Honor Guard Competition during National Police Week activities. Read more
