Winds will start off light, then pick up out of the south and west between 5 and 10 miles per hour. Northeast Georgia and the Upstate can see gusts reach 20 miles per hour.
Scattered showers will be possible throughout the morning and afternoon. Look to see most of the rain and storms focused in western North Carolina with some showers leaking into the upstate.
A Flash Flood Watch will be in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday evening for Madison, Haywood, Jackson, Swain, Graham, Macon, Oconee, Stephens, Franklin, Hart and Elbert counties.
Sunday night will fall into the low to upper 60s once again before rebounding into the low to upper 80s on Monday. Skies will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of afternoon showers and storms to start the work week.
