Cooler temps this weekend, scattered showers possible

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Some cooler air will move in on Saturday! Highs will only reach the 70s with scattered afternoon showers and storms.

Saturday night will be cooler than normal for this time of year. Lows will cool to 55 in the Upstate and 50 in the mountains under clear skies. Sunday will bring lots of sunshine and highs in the upper 60s for the mountains and mid 70s in the Upstate.

Sunday night will be even cooler! Overnight lows will drop to 46 in the mountains and 52 in the Upstate. This is about 10 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year.

Next week will bring a long stretch of sunshine and cooler than normal temps. Highs will remain in the 70s through Tuesday, then 80s will return later in the week. Our next rain chance won't arrive until late week into next weekend.
