Clouds open up to sunshine on Sunday with cool afternoon temperatures. Look to see highs peak in the low 70s throughout the day in northeast Georgia and the Upstate while western North Carolina climbs into the upper 60s.
Winds will be light and variable early in western North Carolina before shifting out of the south between three and eight miles per hour. Northeast Georgia and the Upstate will see more of a north northeast flow between three and eight miles per hour.
High pressure takes control of the forecast allowing sunshine to dominate most of the work week while temperatures hover near normal for much of the work week.
