GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A beautiful weekend is in store with temperatures around average for this time of year. Dry weather will stretch into next week, with the exception of a slight chance for a showers on Monday.

Saturday will be sunny and pleasant, with a cold start but mild finish. Highs will reach the upper 50s in the Upstate and mid 50s across the mountains. Skies will remain clear and temps will be in the low 50s for the Greenville Poinsettia Christmas Parade.

Saturday night will be cold, with lows touching freezing across the Upstate at 32, while the mountains will be in the deep freeze at 26 degrees.

Sunday will bring sunshine and a few clouds mixed in. Highs will warm back to near 60 in the Upstate and mid 50s in the mountains. Weather should cooperate for the many holiday parades happening, including the Anderson parade at 3 p.m.

A few showers will be possible on Monday, but most areas will remain dry. Seasonably cool conditions will stick around next week with sunshine Tuesday through Friday.
