GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Twin sisters battling cancer had their wishes come true thanks to Macy's and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Identical twins Hanna and Grace, 11, were both diagnosed with thyroid cancer. The pair have had a difficult battle ahead of them, but on Friday they received a special surprise.

Macy's and the Make-A-Wish Foundation partnered up for the seventh annual National Believe Day to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Hanna wished for a room makeover and Grace wished for a shopping spree. The staff at the Haywood Mall Macy's store helped make these wishes come true for the twins.

As part of the Believe campaign, Macy's is inviting the public to bring or send their stamped letters to Santa to the store. One dollar will be donated from every letter received through Dec. 24.
