Sunday will remain cloudy with a chance for spotty showers building from late morning, and lasting throughout the day. Temperatures climb into the upper 60s across the Upstate, with mountains towns in the mid-60s by the afternoon.
Sunday will be breezy in the Upstate, with winds blowing out of the west southwest between five and 15 miles per hour. Wind gusts could reach 20 miles per hour at times. Mountain towns will see lighter winds out of the south between five and 10 miles per hour.
After a few daytime showers, expect rain chances to increase for the western Carolinas late Sunday evening into Monday.
Sunday night will fall into the low 50s and mid-40s before rebounding into the low 60s and upper 50s Monday. Skies will be mostly cloudy to start the week as rain chances linger. Expect the best chances of rain to arrive Tuesday and Wednesday with cooler temperatures.
