Clouds and scattered showers approach throughout the weekend

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Saturday will be mild to start with a mix of sun and clouds. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy throughout the day. Look to see highs climb into the mid-70s across the Upstate. Western North Carolina will likely see temperatures peak in the upper 60s, flirting with the 70 degree mark at times.

Winds will be gentle, mainly flowing out of the south between five and ten miles per hour.

Be sure to keep an umbrella handy as a slight chance of rain will linger throughout the afternoon into the evening.

Saturday night into Sunday will once again fall into the low 60s and mid to upper 50s under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

Clouds will increase on Sunday with the best chance of rain arriving throughout the day on Sunday with an isolated thunderstorm being possible as well.

Sunday will continue the streak of above normal temperatures as highs peak in the low 70s and upper 60s. Rain will likely linger a bit longer to start the work week before sunshine returns on Tuesday.
