Sunday will finish off the weekend with a mix of sun and clouds and warm temperatures. Highs will climb into the low 70s across the Upstate while western North Carolina peaks in the upper 60s.
Look to see scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms develop throughout the afternoon. Rain totals will likely range between a tenth of an inch to half an inch. Expect higher amounts in areas that experience heavy downpours from thunderstorms.
Showers will linger Sunday evening as temperatures fall into the mid-50s across the Upstate and near 50 in the mountains.
Monday will see a slight chance of showers early then eventually dry things up with highs in the mid-70s and upper 60s to start the work week. Sunshine returns in full force on Tuesday.
